Attorney Reese Harvey has been practicing law in Palm Beach County for over 13 years. In 1998, Mr. Harvey started his career as a Prosecutor in Palm Beach County where he worked his way through several divisions: first juvenile, then misdemeanor where he was promoted to Division Chief, and finally finishing in felony. During his time as a Prosecutor, Mr. Harvey tried over 100 cases ranging from drug felonies, DUIs, and other serious crimes.
After 2003, Mr. Harvey left the State Attorney's office and entered private practice where he studied under a prominent local personal injury attorney and began litigating serious personal injury cases in front of juries. In 2009 Mr. Harvey decided to combine his passion for the law, his unrivaled courtroom experience, and desire to provide more personal attention to his clients and opened The Law Offices of A. Reese Harvey. Mr. Harvey has a history of winning large verdicts and settlements for his clients, including several multi-million dollar wins. Mr. Harvey advocates for his clients from a foundation of hard work and good ethics, he is well-repected in the legal community.
Mr. Harvey does pro bono work with the Legal Aide Society. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Mr. Harvey grew up in Tampa, Florida where he attended Tampa Preparatory School and then went to Auburn University where he earned a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in Spanish and Political Science. He received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida.
Karli Harris, CP
Karli Harris is a certified paralegal who has been with The Law Offices of Reese Harvey since its opening in 2009. She has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Central Florida. After working for several years in the hospitality industry, she changed her career path and joined the paralegal studies program at Palm Beach State College. After her studies, she successfully passed the national paralegal exam and continued on to receive an advanced certification in Social Securtiy Disability. Ms. Harris is also a Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar and an active member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association.
At The Law Offices of Reese Harvey, Ms. Harris performs legal research, investigative tasks and case management. She assists Mr. Harvey during client conferences and at each stage of litigation, including depositions, mediations and trials. Prior to trial, she is involved in preparing clients for testimony, creating exhibits, obtaining medical documentation, and interviewing potential witnesses. At jury trials, Ms. Harris sits as "second chair" and is instrumental in jury selection, researching, and analyzing case law to support various motions that arise, providing each client with emotional support and creating jury instructions designed to obtain the best possible verdict.
